Warrior Wrestling Building Toward Sectionals

As the wrestling squad makes preps for the IHSAA Sectional tournament, they do so looking to improve on last year’s 8th place team finish out of 10 teams. 

Juniors Cory Neel (125 lbs), Levi Speth (152 lbs), and Caleb Delbridge (285 lbs) lead a young team which has been much improved over the 2009-2010 season.  Neel and Delbridge each finished in the top six last season and should improve those marks this year. 

Coming off the first team tournament victory in school history at Salem last month, the Warriors have made steady improvements.  Ethan Banet (135 lbs) is the fourth junior on the squad and figures to be in the mix to make the top six as well.  CAI will round out the tournament entry form with a young and hard working group of underclassmen in sophomores David Bommarito (119 lbs) and Evan Embry (160 lbs), and freshmen Nate Dunn (130 lbs), Nick Bailey (145 lbs), and Luke Coward (171 lbs).  Good Luck, Warriors!
